Mission

To promote and advocate road cycling as a mainstream transportation and recreation option, to increase its safety and to be the voice of road cyclists of Jefferson County

Vision

Jefferson County is a community which encourages people to use bicycles for transportation and exercise.

Cyclists ride safely on our shared roads

Our county is a model of multi-modal transportation.

Values

Equality – we believe all transportation options need to be equally valued and supported by taxpayer dollars

Safety – we believe that transportation options include safe cycling

Health – we seek to improve the health of our citizens leading to a greater quality of life

Economic development – we believe that cycling improves the livability of an area, thereby making it more attractive for both people and businesses.

Sustainability –we promote environmentally sustainable transportation

Advocacy – we believe that we can influence government decisions that affect bicycling
